There are always hundreds of events going on in the Charlotte Metro, so I have taken the time to curate a list of events that cover a wide array of activities. There should be something for everyone – young & old, and even some for your favorite furry friends! Get out & enjoy Charlotte – and don’t forget to celebrate all those special dads this weekend!

- Friday Nights at Camp North End – July 12 @ 5-10pm
- Friday nights at Camp North End are back for a third season! Join us in the Boileryard for food, music and a few surprises! Whether you’re looking to kick back on a swing bench, explore Charlotte’s history, watch the sunset, connect with old friends or meet someone new… we’ve got a little something for everyone to enjoy.
- Watermelon Day – July 12 @ 11am
- Charlotte Regional Farmers Market – We will be passing out free watermelon samples from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, provided by the NC Watermelon Association. We will have stickers, coloring books, and free watermelon recipes. Stop by today to enjoy the sights, smells and tastes of the market.
- Train/GooGoo Dolls– July 12 @ 7pm
- Concert at PNC Music Pavilion
- Summer Sample Sale – July 12 & 13 @ 10am
- In years past we have held one sample sale on Veteran’s weekend. Brides wait in line and make a mad dash through the door to be the first to find their dream wedding gown at a fraction of the retail price. This year we are combining samples from both Carolina locations to give our brides the opportunity to save up to 80% off their dream wedding dress. No appointment necessary. First come, first served. Find wedding dresses that retail $1000-$7000 on $500, $1000, $1500 and $2000 sample sale racks. Cash or Credit only. No more than two guests per bride. MUST RSVP!

- The Buzz About Bees – July 13 @ 10am
- Discovery Place Nature – What’s the buzz about bees? These amazing pollinators help provide most of the food we eat. Join us for a series of fun programs about bees and learn how you can help these incredible insects. There will be beekeepers, vendors, crafts and story time, plus live demonstrations and Discovery Place Nature honey for sale!
- Shop Drop ‘N Roll Summer Market – July 14 @ Noon
- NoDa Brewing Company is partnering with Crowned Sparrow Craft Co. to host the best artisans Charlotte and the surround area has to offer! Not only will there be goodies and giveaways, but a portion of proceeds will also be donated to a local charity.
- Sunday Fun Day at The Mint Museum – July 14 @ 1pm
- It’s family time at the Mint! Enjoy art projects, gallery experiences, artist demos, & family yoga. Chill out during the hot summer with cool crafts at the Mint! This month collage a frozen Popsicle, make a breezy paper fan and relax and enjoy Under Construction: Collage from the Mint Museum.
- CLT Burger Week – July 15 thru July 21
- Have you been waiting to take a bite out of the Queen City’s burger scene? Ever wondered where the best burgers in Charlotte were hiding? Wait no longer! We’ve unearthed the hidden gems of Charlotte’s best burgers and dusted off some local all-time favorite burger joints to take part in the 4th Annual CLT Burger Week. Feed your appetite for culinary adventure on a week-long journey as you chomp through the best burgers that Charlotte has to offer! Starting Monday, July 15 you can take a bite out of Charlotte’s burger scene for just $6 a specialty burger.
- Thursday Sunset Yoga – Every Thursday June 6-October 31
- Enjoy a Samdhaana Yoga class that focuses on energetic bodies and patterns of movement. At the heart of Samdhaana is the choreography of patterns of movement that directs and guides the flow of energy through the body.This class will help with restoring balance physically, mentally and emotionally. Working toward that balance aslo creates space, a sacred space that allows for deep reflection, inner development, a sense of peace, and, for those seeking it, spiriutal growth.
- Saturday Yoga on the Greenway – Every Saturday April 6-October 26
- Get your weekend started off right with a Saturday stretch with yoga instructor, Suzanne Braunlich. This yoga class focuses on bringing awareness to the mind, body, and breath through a variety of yoga poses at a gentle pace. Emphasis is on alignment and self-awareness for a safe practice. Develop and maintain strength, flexibility and balance for your health and well-being. All are welcome, from beginners to seasoned yogis!
- Summer Concert Series – Thursdays June 6-August 15 @ 6:30pm
- Come and enjoy an evening of music out on the Greenway at the Comporium Amphitheater! Bring your friends, family, a blanket or chair and a picnic dinner. Beer, wine and sodas will be available for purchase. No glass or outside alcohol allowed. Food trucks will be available on site!
